Before our shopping trip even started, Zoe helped me establish the basics: the best colours for my complexion and colouring, what I needed to add to my wardrobe so that I have options for every occasion, and crucially, my budget. "Before having my colour consultation with Zoe, I felt I had a good idea of what colours suited me. Even so, my wardrobe was predominantly black. Whilst Zoe confirmed my favourite colours in clothing, I was surprised by many others that looked good, but which I would usually never try on. I have noticed since the consultation that I am more confident about wearing colour. Furthermore, when I am shopping I am now drawn to the shades that Zoe recommended – I have not bought a black item of clothing in ages!
I found the time with Zoe enjoyable and fascinating. Whilst it is initially a strange experience to be staring at your own 'un-made-up' face, Zoe puts you at your ease. She consults with you as well as drawing upon her own experience, so you are apart of the decisions she makes.

It was no easy task asking Zoë to help co-ordinate a collection of turquoise dresses to suit the varied styles and sizes of my bridesmaids! "Given that I get bored of trawling round shops within about 10 mins and crowds drive me crazy, I can't believe I haven't tried personal shopping before. All I had to do was decide exactly what I was looking for, give an indication of what style I liked plus my budget and a week later Zoe whisks me up to one of the private personal shopping rooms at selfridges (which in itself is quite cool - quite liked pretending I was pretty woman for the day!) and there before me hang 20 or so dresses and all I have to do is try them on - no crowds and no trawling. And better than that, the dresses were absolutely spot on - Zoe had really listened to what I wanted and had literally covered every concession in Selfridges so that I had a chocie of so many designers. The only problem was trying to keep within my budget as I loved so many of them but that was where Zoe was brilliant at giving very honest opinions and soon I was down to an affordable 4 dresses that I felt great in.
The whole experience was just brilliant and zoe really considered my colouring and body shape and then picked items that I never would have looked at but which fitted to perfection. I can't recommend her more highly."
